The MPs adopted the draft budget of the Audit Office for 2014. It will be 27.4 million lei, down 8.9% on this year, IPN reports.
14 million lei of the total sum will go to pay salaries to the 160 employees. About 2 million lei will be used to maintain the 20 service cars, up 11.8%. The rise is due to the higher fuel prices and higher costs for parking the Audit Office’s units of transport.
A sum of 135,000 lei will be used to repair the building of the Audit Office, while 225,000 lei will go to pay rent for offices and other property. The spending for guard services will be 230,000 lei. 110,000 lei will be invested in the training of employees, while 1.4 million lei will be spent on service trips.
