All the audio recordings of hearings made starting with September 1 this year will be stored on a technological platform called Media Server. This is a common platform for storage, access and centralized search of all audio recordings of hearings made by courts of law through the SRS Femida system or by reportophone, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Justice.
As a result, the audio recordings will no longer be kept on the local server of the court of law. These will be automatically transferred to the Media Server, becoming instantaneously part of the electronic case to which it refers. The platform is connected to the Integrated Case Management Program and this makes the hearing of recordings possible by accessing the case.
The Media Server was designed and implemented with support from the USAID Open Justice Project in 2020.
