Auctioned Marculesti International Airport planes unsold

The AN-72 planes put up for auction remained unsold for the tenth time in a row. Tuesday's auction was held in Lunga, Floresti. Besides other property owned by the Marculesti International Airport, there were auctioned two AN-72 planes for US$600,000 and US$950,000 respectively. There was no bidder for them. Sources in the Marculesti International Airport said these planes have been put up for auction because they can no more be used in international aviation. They are equipped modesty and do not hold commercial interest. However, the exhibited old cars have been sold at the auction.
