Moldovan athlete Andrian Mardare has won the Meeting d'Athletisme that was held in Marseille. He scored the result of 79.46 meters in javelin throw, IPN reports.
Valeriu Lungu’s pupil was followed by Anderson Peters of Grenada (78.17m) and Poland’s Dawid Wegner (73.74m).
Earlier this month, Andrian Mardare became Moldova’s champion in javelin throw for the eleventh consecutive time.
In 2021, he contended in the Tokyo Olympics where he ranked seventh with the result of 83.30 meters.
