The Association “Parlamentul-90” demands that the functionaries who contributed to the usurpation of the power by the former head of state Vladimir Voronin be removed from the state institutions, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a statement from the organization. The Association's members say that even if competent persons are appointed to important state positions, attempts are being made to rehabilitate and reinstate persons who had been directly involved in the promotion of the regime of the former head of state. “The numerous cases lost at the ECHR, the harassment of the Opposition and the independent media outlets, the anti-Romania policy, the subjugation of the economy by the Voronin clan and other events took place with the direct participation of high-ranking officials, especially from the police and the judiciary,” the statement says. The Association also says that a large part of the police officers should resign following the crimes they committed during the tragic April events. In the end of the statement, the members of the Association say that the government's personnel policy discredits the Alliance for European Integration's efforts to bring things in Moldova to normality and to build a democratic European state.
