The Bulgarian press reported that “Locomotiv” Plovdiv is close to signing the first serious contract this summer, with Moldovan international Artur Crăciun, IPN reports.
Currently on loan from Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni at Honved, Budapest, the 22-year-old footballer has played four matches for the national football squad and 15 matches for the Under-21 team, where the central fullback scored a goal.
Crăciun was born in Chisinau, has Romanian nationality and is currently the ‘property’ of the Hungarian team Honved with which his transfer to Plovdiv for a year is negotiated.
Gong.bg said Artur Crăciun has impresse by his stature of 1.93cm and also by his contribution to the success of Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni in 2019, when this team took the second place in the national rankings and secured participation in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
