An exhibition of works created during the international artistic creation camp “Tulcene Architectural Jewels”, where artists from the Republic of Moldova participated as well, is open to the public for 15 days at Casa Avramide in Tulcea, Agerpres reports.

Diana Caisîn, a painter from the Republic of Moldova, admitted that she really wanted to visit Tulcea county. “I am here for the first time and I dreamed of reaching the Delta, the Danube. It’s very cool. I came with great love and I enjoyed it enormously. I painted the Independence Monument. I liked it enormously because it is about independence, struggle, inner strength and the desire to be free”, said the artist.

The initiator of the project, Carmen Ştefănescu, said during the opening of the exhibition that it was a project that she created with great dedication, as a result of which 32 works were produced.

Some of the works created by the artists participating in the event will be owned by the Tulcea County Council, the financier of the artistic creation camp, and the others will belong to the Association of Localities and Historic and Art Areas of Romania (ALZIAR).

Among the objectives of the “Architectural Jewels of Tulcea” project are the promotion of visual art, stimulation of artistic expression, encouragement of access to culture and cultural diversity, as well as greater public awareness of the need to protect and preserve the architectural heritage.
