The young artist Natalia Nikitina has opened her second personal exhibition on Friday, February 5, displaying paintings from a great variety of currents, including realism, abstractionism, décorativisme, and others, Info-Prim Neo reports. Colleagues and friends that came to encourage her at the opening of the exhibition, hosted by the OSCE Mission to Moldova, say the young artist is still in search of her style, image and colors in her paintings.
The artist herself says that the 25 pieces on display are painted in different languages and diverse themes. “They are done in all the languages and all the styles, from abstractionism to mosaic art, everything here is in totally different styles”, says the artist, adding she is ready to paint just about everything, except for portraits.
Natalia Nikitina is studying at the Technical University's Design & Architecture Department and is teaching arts at the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau for children of all ages.
Veaceslav Repig, Natalia's research supervisor, says that despite the heterogeneity of Natalia's works, they have always been original and attractive.
Another speaker at the opening, graphics artist Oleg Cojocaru, thinks that Natalia has a promising future as a painter once she finds her style and tendencies.
“The hardest thing on Earth is to find yourself”, says actor Sandu Cupcea, “what's important is that she recognizes beauty and knows how to place it on canvas”. “I think her direction is lyrical, because she uses bright, beautiful colors, which demonstrates that she is a gentle, philosophic and mysterious nature”.
The exhibition will be on display at the OSCE Mission until until February 28.
