“Arrivederci” wins 15th prize

The Moldovan movie “Arrivederci” made under the direction of Valeriu Jereghi has won the top prize of the second film festival-contest “Identita Film Festival”.
The jury consisted of spectators who selected candidates for the 13 nominations. The movie “Arrivederci” won the first prize by the number of votes gained. The director was invited to the award ceremony that will take place in Rome early in November.
Valeriu Jereghi has told Info-Prim Neo that the aim of the festival is to promote picture making as expression of the art and to highlight the importance of territorial, cultural and social identity as an element of the national heritage and the prospects of establishing a dialogue between countries.
The festival took place in Rome between June 23 and October 1. It was held under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, and the Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Italy.
Valeriu Jereghi has won 15 prizes for “Arrivederci” so far.
