Seven men from northern Moldova were arrested on suspicion that they produced and distributed drugs in Soroca and Drochia districts. They were placed under arrest for 30 days, IPN reports.
The men are aged between 25 and 40. As a result of searches at suspects’ homes, the police seized 250 grams of amphetamine, a dry vegetal substance looking like hemp, banned pills and handmade devices for taking drugs.
If they are found guilty, the men will serve up to 15 years in jail.
