Architectural monument removed in Chisinau’s historical

Another architectural monument was taken down in the historical center of Chisinau, deputy head of the Monument Inspection and Restoration Agency Tatiana Nicolaesco has told Info-Prim Neo. It was a house dating from the 19th century, situated on Banulescu-Bodoni St, at the intersection with Columna St. It is not yet known who demolished the building. The Monument Inspection and Restoration Agency will inform the Prosecutor General’s Office about this case. According to the Agency, about 80 historical monuments had been taken down during the last ten years. Currently, there are fewer than 1,000 monuments in central Chisinau.
