The ruling political class must leave because it no longer represents the people’s interests, director of the Institute of Public Policy Arcadie Barbarosie said in the program “Interpol” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
“The ruling political class discredited itself and does not have the moral right to govern this country. It must leave and another political class, consisting of people with integrity, should come in its place. All the people expect a new political class to come and to really promote their interests,” stated Barbarosie.
The expert considers that for the crisis to be solved, the head of state should be elected by the people and a technocratic Government should be voted in. “If the President was elected by the people, not by several parties in Parliament, this could do more things and would have wider prerogatives. Regretfully, there is no political will to do reforms in our county and all the state institutions are controlled politically,” he said.
The director of the Institute of Public Policy said the people are tired of the ruling political class and are ready to finance a party that will consist of upright persons who will safeguard their interests.
