“The April 7 events had two components – the spontaneous revolt by the young people and the planned devastation of the two state buildings orchestrated by former head of state Vladimir Voronin,” writer Nicolae Dabija told the reporters after he was quizzed as a witness in the April 2009 events case on February 10, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the writer, Vladimir Voronin's plan was aimed at discrediting the Opposition and outlawing the Opposition parties, establishing personal dictatorship, introducing visas for Romanian travelers and rupturing the relations with Romania. “Who wanted the two buildings to be devastated? I think those who finished the repair of those buildings not long before,” Nicolae Dabija said. The writer said many details point to the fact that the vandalizing of the two buildings was part of a scenario. “Rubber tires were burned there, but none of those who entered the Parliament came with tires. Fires were seen in some of the offices before the protesters entered the buildings. The list of those who were arrested was compiled beforehand. One of them, Gabriel Stati, wasn't even in Moldova at that moment. The offices in the Parliament were all unlocked,” Dabija said. Nicolae Dabija also said special teams were set up to conduct the devastation of the buildings. “I showed the prosecutors pictures taken by our photographers from the publication “Literatura si Arta”, where teams of provokers are seen acting together,” he said.
