Those who want to vote at the place where they are can submit relevant applications personally or through the agency of a relative, by presenting the identity card, in the period between June 1 and June 13 inclusive. Only the persons with visual impairments can make a verbal request, IPN reports.
The written applications are accepted during two weeks before the elections, until 6pm of the day prior to the election day. A medical certificate must be presented only if the application is submitted on the election day, until 3pm.
The applications are submitted to the electoral office of the constituency where the voter is registered between 8am and 5pm.
In Chisinau and in the suburbs, there were established 309 polling places. A number of 1,666 polling places were set up all over the country.
