Applications invited for post of Moldova 1 director

Starting today, applications are invited for the post of director of the national television channel Moldova 1, Info-Prim Neo learned from Eugeniu Ribca, the president of the national broadcaster TRM's Supervisory Board (SB). Applications will be accepted until September 9, with the selection to take place on September 14. Ribca said that increased attention will be given to the applicants' managerial skills and knowledge of internal documents, in particular the 2010-2015 Development Strategy. Attention will also be paid to reformative actions. During the interviews, each applicant will be allotted 10 minutes to describe his or her view on Moldova 1's development, after which SB members will have 20 minutes to ask questions. The post fell vacant after the departure of Angela Sirbu in March. The first attempt to select a replacement failed in May after none of the candidates managed to collect enough votes.
