The Moldovan young people that want to continue their studies in Romania can submit applications for scholarships directly to the consular section of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau (2 Gr. Ureche St), Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the diplomatic mission. Those that want to entre secondary schools and colleges can file applications during July 14-25, between 16.30 and 20.30 from Monday to Friday, and between 9.00 and 13.00 on Saturday and Sunday. The applications for university scholarships can be submited during July 5-25, between 16.30 and 20.30 from Monday to Friday, and between 9.00 and 13.00 on Saturday and Sunday. Details about the necessary documents, the selection procedure, the pre-university and university scholarships offered can be found in the Methodlogy, which is available on the Romanian Embassy’s website - http://chisinau.mae.ro/index.php?lang=ro&id=657 or on the website of the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth of Romania - http://www.edu.ro/index.php/articles/c27. The high school graduates who will not have been issued with the Baccalaureate diploma by the day when they file the applications, can submit instead a ceryificate issued by the pre-university institution they have graduated from. The certificate must include the average Baccalaureate. If the applicant is accepted, the Baccalaureate diploma must be presented to the education establishment in Romania on registration. Romania offers 750 pre-university scholarships for Moldovan secondary school graduates of the 2007-2008 class, including 50 scholarship for graduates of Transdniestrian schools. A number of 601 scholarships are provided for universities, including 50 scholarships for graduates of the following institutions: Alexandru cel Bun High School in Bender, Lucian Blaga High School in Tiraspol, Stefan cel Mare si Sfant High School in Grigoripol, Mihai Eminescu High School in Dubasari, Evrika High School in Rabnitsa, the Internal Boarding School for Orphans in Bender, the Secondary School in Roghi, the Secondary School in Corjova. The applicants for master’s and doctoral studies shall apply to universities in Romania and not at the Ministry of Education.
