The deadline for filing applications for cold-month allowances for the previous heating season (2013 – 2014) was extended until October 1, IPN has learned from the Chisinau City Hall.
Families on a monthly income lower than 2,000 lei per member are also entitled to cold-month allowances. The limit until now was 1,700 lei.
Contacted by IPN, director of the municipal billing company IM “Infocom” Ion Margineanu said that about 27,000 families have received such allowances so far.
