The Chisinau City Appeals Court decided that the examination of the challenges to the Central Election Commission’s decision to establish only 146 polling stations outside the country for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 will be continued on June 15, starting at 9am, IPN reports.

A number of request to replace judges were made in today’s hearing. After judge Ecaterina Palanciuc was removed, representatives of parties also asked to remove Anatolie Minciună and Veronica Negru, who replaced Ecaterina Palanciuc. The court thus took a break until tomorrow to examine the replacement requests and the case.

Challenges were filed by the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi”, PPPDA, PAS, PUN and AUR. The examination of the case started on June 10. The parties mounted even a protest before the Chisinau City Appeals Court on June 10 and 11.
