Apartment prices rise as specialists have forecast

On the background of recent food and fuel price hikes, the cost of dwelling space is also up. It is especially noticeable in Chisinau, where only in May, the apartment prices rose with 300-700 euros compared to the previous month. Some specialists would forecast hikes of up to 30% of the immovable a month ago, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to real estate agency Lara, during the considered period, the prices of 1-4-room apartments have oscillated with 22,000 to 6,000 euros. The prices shrink depending on area and location.
The price of the one-room flats have risen mostly, costing between 26,000 and 37,000 de euros, on average 950 euros per sq. m. Thus the new apartments, sell in Centru district in Chisinau at 31,000-37,000 euros, 30,500 and 32,000 euros – in Rascani sector, 31,000 and 33,000 euros – in Buiucani, from 26,000 to 33,000 euros – in Botanica and from 28,000 to 32,500 euros – in Ciocana.
The two-room apartments cost in May in Centru 43,000-48,000 euros, in Rascani – 42,000-45,000 euros, in Ciocana – 38,500-44,500 euros.
The new 3-room apartments cost 52,500-57,000 euros in Centru, in Rascani – 53,500 euros, in Buiucani – 52,500. In Botanica district, the 3-room apartment prices vary between 40,000 and 55,000 euros.
The 4-room flats cost in May between 45,500 and 60,500 euros.
The average price of 1 sq. m on the secondary market was 850 euros. It has been calculated on the basis of the transactions operated, and is deemed slightly lower than the offer prices. At the same time, the calculations do not take into account sales of 1-room flats, rooms in dormitories and topnotch dwellings.
The old apartments, especially the ones in the Airport neighborhood, were the cheapest – some 23,000 euros, Info-Prim Neo reports.
