The managers of apartment buildings located in Botanica district of Chisinau were informed about the activity of SA “Apa Canal Chisinau” (ACC) in a meeting with the company’s administration. The sides discussed the ACC’s plan of action and investment for Botanica and identified the problems existing in the district and possible solutions to them, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the public utility, the 50 apartment building managers and the company’s administration also discussed the implementation of the program to develop the water supply system of Chisinau municipality, which is financed by the EBRD and EIB. The company’s technical director Vitalie Midari said that this project will benefit the residents of Botanica district.
“Within this investment program, 33.3 km of water pipes, 5.1 km of which are water mains and about 0.6 km are sewer pipes, will be rehabilitated in Botanica so as to improve the quality of the provided services,” stated Vitalie Midari
In the questions and answers session, the apartment building managers put questions about the signing of direct contracts with end-users, invoicing of services by ACC, metering of the supplied water, the causes of the appearance of differences in the metered volumes and the installation of meters whose data are read from a distance.
In another development, the sides discussed the new regulations concerning the water supply and sewerage service that recently came into force. The apartment building managers approved of the ACC’s intention to create a committee of water consumers in their district.
