The residential block for Transnistrian refugees located on Ginta Latina Street could be put in commission by November 30, deputy mayor Igor Lupulciuc said at Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau City Hall. According to Lupulciuc, the Chisinau administration asked the office for the implementation of court decisions to lift the arrestment on the building so as to start distributing the apartments. The deputy mayor also said that 69 dossiers of the refugees have been processed until present. Another 143 are being dealt with. Five of the potential residents of the given building cannot be found. Igor Lupulciuc said that the applicants must present one more certificate confirming that they and the adult members of their family do not own real estate, issued by the National Cadastre Office. The commission will examine every dossier in the presence of the applicants for dwellings and will submit the final list to the Chisinau Municipal Council for approval in two-three weeks, Igor Lupulciuc said. According to Dionisie Boaghe, head of the Housing-Communal Division, most of the dossiers were submitted on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But many of the applicants do not have the original of the refugee certificate, only copies At the meeting of November 27, the Chisinau Municipal Council will consider issuing tickets for apartments in the residential block to Transnistrian refugees.
