More than 1,500 representatives of water supply and sewerage companies took part in the 15th water exhibition EXPO APA 2013 that was held recently in Bucharest. Moldova was represented by SA Apa-Canal Chisinau. The event included technical-scientific conferences, international workshops and seminars. There was also opened an international exhibition of water treatment equipment and technology, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Chisinau water supplier.
Attending the event, the representatives of Apa-Canal Chisinau assured that they will continue the cooperation projects launched and will learn from the good practices implemented by the Romanian colleagues. According to the president of the company’s Administration Board Oleg Cernei, the communication, transparency and experience exchange are essential factors for successful work.
“The organization of such events and the establishment of new partnerships will enable to implement new technology and to attract new investments into the area,” stated Oleg Cernei. He added that owing to the intense cooperation with Romanian water suppliers and to efficient management, the Chisinau public utility managed to ensure services of a high quality at a balanced tariff for the population.
The event was organized by the Romanian Water Association and the Water Employers of Romania.
