The company “Apa-Canal Chisinau” warns the private individuals and legal entities not to discharge sewage in the environs or they will face heavy fines, IPN reports.
In a press release, the company said it identified such cases in the suburban settlements of Chisinau, where the entities are not connected to the centralized sewerage system. In the absence of sewer pipes, the sewage is stored by household users in special underground tanks and is later collected by business entities for money. Some of these later discharge the sewage in the environs, causing thus considerable damage.
“Apa-Canal Chisinau” started to sign contracts for the collection of domestic sewage. A number of 21 applications have been received so far. The service costs 2,000 lei a month. To avoid the unauthorized discharge and possible abuses on the part of ill-intentioned business entities, the company will present the list of legal entities that signed such contracts to the National Patrolling Inspectorate.
