A modern motor vehicle was delivered to SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” following an international tender contest. On November 8, the company’s employees were trained how to use the car, IPN reports.
This is the first large vehicle of the two acquired that was delivered. They will be used to exploit sewer pipes with the diameter of over 300 mm. In a press release, the public utility says the new machine will facilitate the work of the company’s specialists by automating the working process. The vehicle was already tested and will start to be used soon.
SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” said the machinery used now is over 20 years old and the new machines that will be purchased this year will increase its operational efficiency and will diminish the cost of repair works. The vehicles will be bought within the Priority Investment Program that is financed by the EBRD and EIB.
