SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” said that each worker of the teams that deal with leakages has a well-defined duty. The given works form part of dangerous works and must be carried out by a team consisting of at least three persons, one of whom is a supervisor. The specification comes following reports that often, during such works, one person works, while another ten only look, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the public utility.
The company said the works to liquidate the leakages are monitored by a specially designated chief who is responsible for the formation of a joint team of specialists needed in the production process and for the security and health of the inferiors.
When the workload and plan of action are set, there are identified the necessary workers who can be seen by consumers waiting to fulfill their obligations. Before starting the works, representatives of a number of municipal companies are informed an invited to the scene, including of SA “Termoelectrica”, SRL “Chisinau-Gaz”, SA “Moldtelecom”, and IM “Lumteh”.
Depending on the place of the accident, the actions must be coordinated with the municipal police and transport divisions whose representatives can also become involved in these works.
