SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” managed to save about 270,000 lei as a result of at least 35 online tender contests held so far this year, with an estimated value of over 1.1 million lei, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the company.
The savings were possible owing to the implementation of the electronic procurement system Mtender. SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” is one of the few companies that managed to register on the platform achizitii.md and shortly became one of the state institutions that make most of the purchases online.
The water supplier said the online tender contests were held to purchase stationery, water purification systems and different services typical of the company’s work. There were more bids and the company could choose the most suitable ones, taking into account the quality-price ratio.
SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” supplies drinking water and provides sewerage services for about 800,000 consumers in the capital city and its suburbs. The company employs about 1,780 employees.
