SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) selected the winners of the drawing contest “Story of water” that was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the company’s foundation. The authors of 47 drawings received diplomas and money awards. These works were exhibited in the company’s meetings hall, IPN reports.
In the award ceremony, ACC director general Veronica Herta said a total of 675 drawings were received during September 11 and October 1. Of these, there were chosen 47 winning drawings in the primary classes and secondary classes categories.
Twenty awards were provided for the first, second and third places, while 27 works were awarded special prizes for originality and creativity. Among the winners is a child of Penitentiary No. 10 of Goian village. “We wanted the children who live in other conditions than at home to also be able to show their talent and courage by taking part in the contest,” stated Veronica Herta.
The contestants also received by a cup with the emblem and slogan of “Apa-Canal Chisinau”: “Created by nature – supplied by us”.
Veronica Herta also said that the contest was held on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the company’s foundation that will be celebrated on December 12. The drawings will be exhibited in the company’s corridors.
The contest “Story of water” was staged with the assistance of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport. Both the contest and the exhibition were at the third edition.
