As from this month, SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” has worked based on a new organization system that is designed to accelerate the process of modernizing and orienting the company to development and investments, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the company.
The supplier said the organizational measure includes the creation of an important number of jobs, such as posts for specialists in key units that ensure medium- and long-term support for maintenance, technical and equipment activities, protection support, designing etc.
According to the new organization chart, there will be 26 departments. A number of sectors were merged to facilitate a large number of particular processes. According to the company’s director general Veronica Herta, by approving a new organogram they aim to attract well-trained specialists as the absence of such specialists is a problem for which they worked out a long-term strategy.
The reorganization does not include layoffs at managerial level. The holders of the restructured posts will hold other positions at the company, in accordance with their professional training and experience.
Currently, the company employs 1,789 persons, as opposed to 1,840 earlier.
