AOAM acts as general sponsor of “ExpoVin Moldova 2011”

The Moldova Business People Association (AOAM) is the sponsor of this year's jubilee exhibit “ExpoVin Moldova” that is taking place at the exhibitions center MoldExpo during February 16-19. On February 16, when the exhibition was opened, AOAM handed over three gold medals to the winner of the international “Chisinau Wines & Spirits Contest' 2011” – the Romanian company “Cotnari”, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Association's press service. The contest brought together 52 companies from more than 10 countries, including Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, France, Spain, Argentina, Germany, and Cyprus. AOAM director general Andrian Candu said the Association decided to act as general sponsor given the importance of the wine industry in Moldova. “The aim of this exhibition is to promote the country's image as producer of wines and alcoholic beverages of a high quality abroad,” said Andrian Candu. The international wine exhibition “ExpoVin Moldova” is one of the most important events in Moldova's wine industry. As the international contest “Chisinau Wines & Spirits Contest 2011”, it is held as part of the Moldovan Wine Week, which is organized traditionally by Poliproject Exhibitions Ltd.
