Antidiscrimination Law becomes Law on Equality of Chances

The antidiscrimination bill has been refined and renamed. The topic was discussed in a Government working meeting on May 10, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the executive, the document will be named the Law on Equality of Chances. The final bill includes clear provisions concerning the family, adoption, religious denominations and their component parts. Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim to present the bill in the Government and publish it on the Justice Ministry’s website. The adoption of this law is a condition imposed by the EU for liberalizing the visa regime.
