A drive titled “One Anticorruption Day” was carried out at the summer camp “Camping” in Vadul lui Voda town. Transparency International - Moldova and the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport answered questions about the consequences of corruption for Moldova’s future and for the young people’s future, the integrity in the education system and the importance of promoting such values as justice and equity, honesty and correctness at school, put by the participants, Info-Prim Neo reports. During the day, the young persons listened to lessons taught by experts, participated in debates, interactive games and competitions, saw films, videos and an exhibition of caricatures. The activities were aimed at cultivating ethic values and intolerance to corruption, Transparency International – Moldova says in a communiquй. In order to better understand and memorize what they heard, the young people and the moderators resorted to such methods as pantomime, caricature, staging of fables. During a master class by painter Alex Dimitrov, the partisans took part in a contest of anticorruption caricatures. Alex Dimitrov said that it is rather difficult to caricaturize such notions as conflict of interests, influence peddling, protectionism, money laundering, but the young persons did it well. Assessing the participants in the contest for the best essay themed “Integrity in Education - Chances for the Future”, Iulia Batranac, methodologist at the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, expressed her admiration, saying that the young people not only expressed their intolerance to corruption, but also wrote verses on this topic. The day ended with a presentation. The participants put on the ‘uniform’ of fighters against corruption – T-shirts of blue color, which is the symbol of honor, purity and honesty.
