Anticancer Week to take place in Moldova

The Anticancer Week will be held in Moldova between May 31 and June 5. In a communiqué quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the Ministry of Health says the event is aimed at informing the population about the methods of preventing, detecting and treating cancer.
During the week, specialists of the Oncology Institute will travel to the districts of Soroca, Cahul, Taraclia and medical institutions in the municipality of Chisinau to provide consultation services for the population. A number of conferences for medical personnel centering on cancer related issues will be held as part of the event.
The Anticancer Week forms part of the national healthy lifestyle promotion program for 2007-2015.
