Anti-Mafia Movement starts protests

The Anti-Mafia Movement began the protests planned to be staged in front of the property of statesmen. About 50 persons Monday mounted a protest near Codru Hotel in the center of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The hotel was acquired by Vlad Plahotniuc (First Deputy Speaker) for €3 million, but its price is much higher. The situation is much the same with the building of the company “Ipteh”, which belongs to Vlad Filat. We will also protest in front of the club “Drive”, Nobil Club Hotel and the Business Global Center. Our people will distribute brochures among the foreigners arriving at the Chisinau airport so that they do not use the services of the mafiotic institutions,” Sergiu Mocanu said during the protest. He also said that they will send informative letters to all the foreign delegations that stopped at Codru Hotel and will urge the international companies based in the building of “Ipteh” to stop renting offices there. “Our protests are aimed at preventing the mafia from earning money,” said Sergiu Mocanu. Poor persons without a place to stay will gather together in front of the statesmen’s property. They will beg there in order to support themselves. The next protest will be staged in front of the building of “Ipteh” on February 6.
