The Economic Crimes and Corruption Combating Center (ECCCC) urges the graduating high school students, their parents and teachers to denounce any corruption case while holding the baccalaureate exams, Info-Prim Neo quotes a communique of the ECCCC. Investigated cases show that the bribes are given to get higher degrees, to remunerate teachers, to be allowed to cheat at exams, to get the exam topics in advance, etc. The ECCCC officers point out that a fair amount of the previous denouncements were anonymous. The law provides that the anonymous notifications cannot serve as reasons to start penal inquests. But after following that information, the ECCCC can find information to start penal searches. The ECCCC specifies it's impossible to certainly find the offense without the help of the victim. “Under these circumstances, last year, checking the notifications ended in a minor number of indictments and penalties, since they reached the center already after giving the money and after ending the exams,” reads the release.
