The National Anti-corruption Center (NAC) has informed that the new number of the National Anti-corruption Line is 0-800-55555 and the calls are toll-free, IPN learned from a NAC press release.
The phone line, which will be available 24/7, is designed to enable members of the public to report cases of corruption to NAC.
The change follows the approval of the Regulations on System of Anti-corruption Phone Lines and is in line with the Action Plan to implement the 2011-2015 National Anti-corruption Strategy.
The number 257- 257 is still available, but the callers will get charged.
