“Antena C” radio station, partnered by the Electronic Press Association APEL, released on Thursday, October 19, a new programme “Spiritul legii” (“The Spirit of the Law”). The aim of the show is to explain the legislative acts discussed and approved by the R. Moldovan Parliament. Vasile State, director of “Antena C” and the host of the show told Info-Prim Neo that “Spiritul legii” proposes to explain in a simple way the sense and consequences of the legislative acts approved by the Parliament. The biggest part of the population does not know the advantages of legislative acts’ implementation, due to the fact that they do not have access to them. “A lot of people know that we have good laws, but they are not implemented, also because beneficiaries are not using them”, Vasile State says. The programme plan to synthesize the most important laws and bills by keeping informed the audience with Legislative news and the legislative process. The important legislative acts discussed and approved by the Parliament will be announced within the show and then they will be debated in 1-2 themes by the law experts, authors of draft laws or civil society representatives. The lawyer Eugen Rabca and Valeriu Munteanu, APEL experts, have discussed about the draft law regarding civil cases mediation on the first show, on Thursday. The programme will be formed of 12 shows broadcasted in the period between October 2006 – April 2007, on Thursdays, biweekly, from 9:15 and 10:00. The shows will be live and the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. The programme “Spiritul legii” is realized with the support of US Embassy in R. Moldova.
