The inconsistencies identified in the financial plan of SA Termocom will be taken into account when adjusting the heat tariff in the future, but they will not influence the present tariff, Victor Parlicov, the director general of the Nation la Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), told Info-Prim Neo.
“We will discuss the results of the inspection carried out by the ANRE with the heat supplier's administration and allow them to explain. We informed them about the inconsistencies discovered. A final decision will be taken next week,” Parlicov said.
'The large sums collected illegally will be taken account of when considering the new heat tariff that Termocom will ask in the future. This does not mean that the tariff will be lower. It will be raised, but not to the level asked by the heat supplier.”
In a news conference on March 29, Chisinau councilor Oleg Cernei said the ANRE carried out a fiscal inspection at Termocom and identified unjustified costs introduced in the new heat charge.
During the 2009-2010 heating season, Termocom supplied heat to the value of 437 million lei, while during the 2008-2009 season – of 330 million lei. On February 1, 2010, the ANRE increased the heat tariff from 541 lei per gigacalorie to 699 lei, at the request of Termocom.
