ANRE consults consumers on updated Regulations on gas use

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) published on its website the draft of the updated Regulations on Gas Supply and Use for public debates. The public consultation will last 30 days, during which the consumers can submit their inputs to the draft, ANRE said in a press release. ANRE said it revised the document with a view to bringing it up to date with the real situation on the market and to settling issues existing between the final consumers and the gas operators. The document was amended with safeguards for the protection of consumers rights, including a mechanism enabling the consumers to comply if they consider that the costs of the equipment installation by the operators are exaggerated or in other cases.
