Another trolleybus assembled in Chisinau will be launched on route

After the first trolleybus assembled in Chisinau in collaboration with Belarusian company Belkomunmash from Minsk was opened last week, the Electric Transport Network (RTEC) announced that the second one would be launched, Info-Prim Neo reports. RTEC head Gheroghe Morgoci declared during the City Hall meeting that the trolleybus would circulate on route 24. Other three trolleybuses were being assembled and would be launched before August 10. The first unit assembled in Chisinau has been circulating on route 21 for already a week. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said that 10 trolleybuses would be assembled by the end of the year. The units assembled in Chisinau cost €135,000, which is €10,000 less than the ones assembled in Minsk.
