One of the four persons injured in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday in Gagauzia’s Bucak village died last night in hospital. The 50-year-old man was a passenger in the car that was crashed into.
The man had been admitted to the Comrat District Hospital in critical condition, having suffered multiple injuries. The woman and the child from the car that caused the accident had been taken to a Chisinau hospital.
IPN learned from a Mother&Child Institute spokesperson that the 12-year-old boy is in critical yet stable condition. The boy suffered a fractured femur and head injuries, but is conscious.
The accident occurred after a man drove his car onto the wrong side of the road and collided with another car head-on. The man died instantly, as the other driver was injured and hospitalized.
