Another Chisinau’s inhabitant turns 100

The representatives of the pretur of Centru district congratulated on Friday, June 23, Antonina Kulakov who celebrates her 100 anniversary.
Even at this age she managed to keep a very good memory: she knows almost all of the Pushkin’ poems by heart, which she repeats often in order not to forget them. She also noted that she had faced very difficult times, including both world wars, even she is half orphan since she was 2, being educated in an orphanage.
The Centru pretur offered to Antonina Kulakov material assistance of 500 lei.
The head of the Municipal Social-Humanitarian and Interethnic Relations Department, Nina Stratulat, highlighted that 27 women aged 100 live in Chisinau municipality, including Antonina Kulakov. Their number will be completed, the next week, with another centenary woman. Stratulat also underlined that there is no man aged 100 in Chisinau municipality.
