The ministries and other central and local public authorities will have to present annual reports on the state of the public property in a given area for the previous year and the current one to the Government and the Public Property Agency by April 25. The executive made relevant amendments to a decision adopted earlier by it, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said the amendments impose additional requirements as regards the data included in the reports. The reports must contain details about the size and circulation of the property of the companies in which the state owns holdings so as to facilitate the determination of the main indicators that show the economic and financial stability of the company.
In a number of reports submitted in 2011 and this year, the Audit Office identified a number of violations of the legislation and the rules of managing public patrimony by the central and local public authorities and the companies administered by them, as well as public patrimony objects that are used without being registered.
