Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet received a congratulatory message from German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
“Your country faces great economic, political and social challenges. You can count on the firm support of the Federal Government in your efforts aimed at modernizing the bodies and institution and at implementing the agenda of association with the EU,” reads the message.
The German official wished the new Premier courage, good inspiration and a lot of success in dealing with the tasks entrusted to him.
The new Cabinet headed by Valeriu Strelet was voted in on July 30.
