German Chancellor Angela Merkel transmitted a message to Moldova’s Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici, whereby she congratulates him on his appointment and wishes him success in dealing with the tasks facing him, IPN has learned from the Government’s press service.
“You take over government in a period with great economic and political challenges. You can count on the Federal Government’s full assistance in continuing the democratic reforms and strengthening the rule of law and the market economy, especially for implementing the agenda of association with the EU,” reads Angela Merkel’s message.
The German Chancellor had been in Chisinau on an official visit in 2012.
