Tennis player Andriana Sosnovski has won the ITF Tennis Organization Cup that was held in Antalya together with Russia’s Alexandra Pospelova, IPN reports.
In the final, the Moldovan-Russian pair beat the duo Lara Escauriza (Paraguay) - Barbara Gatica (Chile). Andriana Sosnovski competed also in the singles, but was eliminated by Magdalena Pantuckova of the Czech Republic 1-6, 3-6 in the quarterfinals. The prize money of the tournament was US$ 15,000.
Andriana Sosnovski, 19, is among the top 1,000 female tennis players of the world.
