Andrian Mardare ranks second at European Challenge in Dessau

Athlete Andrian Mardare finished second at the European Challenge of Dessau in Germany in javelin throw, with the result of 84.41 meters. He was outstripped only by Germany’s Johannes Vetter (86.17), IPN reports.

Several days ago, Vetter set the second result in history at the tournament in Poland – 97.76 m. Lithuania’s Edis Matusevicius ranked third with 75.94 m.

On September 13, Andrian Mardare will compete at the World Challenge in Berlin. He is 25 and is trained by Valeriu Lungu. Mardare won bronze at the Under 23 European Championships of 2017 and gold at the World University Games of 2019.
