Parliament in the autumn-winter session will focus on the control and assessment of the reformation process, Speaker Andrian Candu stated in the talk show "Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

"In the spring-summer session, the legislative body adopted a number of important laws concerning the implementation of reforms in particular areas, but during this session we will concentrate our efforts on their implementation. These laws refer to the reform of the prosecution service, the National Anticorruption Cente, the financial-banking system, the National Integrity Commission. We will take measures to ensure the implementation of reforms such as, for example, the appointment of the prosecutor general. There will be initiated control, hearings in Parliament," stated the Speaker.

Andrian Candu exaplained why the autumn-winter session this year didn't start with the speeches of heads of parliamentary groups about priorities. "We have four candidates for President in Parliament. To prevent electoral propaganda from the Parliament's rostrum, we decided to renounce this practice," he said.

The Speaker also said that effort will be made to implement the Association Agreement with the EU. "We set an agenda for two years ahead," he noted.
