Andrei Zatushevski wins bronze at World University Boxing Championships

Moldovan boxer Andrei Zatushevski has won a bronze medal at the World University Boxing Championships that are held in the Russian city Elista, IPN reports.

Competing in the 91 kg eight class, he beat Kyrgyzstan’s Bekbolsun Toktosun in the quarterfinals, but lost to Henrik Sargsyan of Armenia in the semifinals. Zatushevski trains at the Specialized Boxing School of Grimăncăuţi.

Another three Moldovan boxers were eliminated after the first fight. These are: Mihail Cvasiuc (60 kg), Vlad Gavriliuc (69 kg) and Mihail Unciuc (75 kg). The World University Boxing Championships this year brought together boxers from 22 countries.
