The Civil, Commercial and Administrative Contentious Panel of the Chișinău Court of Appeal overturned the decision of the Chișinău District Court from July 19, 2018, and issued a new decision confirming the results of the new local elections of the general mayor of Chișinău form May 20 (first tour) and June 3 (second tour).
The ruling was delivered by judges Vladislav Clima, chairperson of the panel, and Ecaterina Palanciuc.
The current decision considers that the Political Party Platforma Demnitate și Adevăr mayoral candidate Andrei Năstase won the election. Moreover, the court validated Andrei Nastase's mandate.
The decision can be appealed at the Supreme Court of Justice.
