The Platform “Dignity and Truth” is for fielding a common candidate of the opposition for the presidential elections, who will be accepted both by the right and by the left, the Platform’s leader Andrei Nastase stated in the program “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
“We consider the whole anti-oligarchic opposition must designate a candidate accepted by all the sides, by the Romanians, by the Russians and by those who are for the Union with Romania or for the Customs Union. We need a powerful candidate who would win the elections by the first round. This must be an upright person able to oppose the oligarchic system and to cause early parliamentary elections,” said Andrei Nastase.
